Hanna Jerome holds many D-E Track and Cross Country School records: the fastest time for girls on all four cross-country courses; the record for winter track in the 1,000 and 1,600 meters and a share of three relay records; and the record for spring track in the 800 and 1,600 meters and a share of five relay records.
During her senior year (2014), she earned D-E’s Jeanne Phelps Award and the title of “Track & Field Most Valuable Athlete,” and she was a League Champion in 800m, 1,600m, and 3,200m races. In the New Jersey State Group Championships, Hanna placed second in the 1,600m race and third in the 800m race.
Hanna graduated from Hamilton College, where she competed on the cross-country team for four years (2014-2017) and qualified for the NCAA Division III national championship race. In 2018, she was named a Milton H. Jannone Award Honoree for exhibiting outstanding athleticism, leadership, and academic accomplishment.
As a postgraduate, Hanna placed in the top 100 of American Women at the New York City Marathon with a time of 3:05, and placed in the top 2 percent of all runners at the RBC Brooklyn Half marathon with a time of 1:24:36.
