In Spring 1989 the Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse team had an impressive Season record of 26 wins and only 2 losses. They went on to win the State Championship and the Locust Valley Tournament.
The team’s success continued in 1990, during which they achieved an equally impressive season record of 13 wins and only 3 losses. The team went on to win the State’s Championship game and the Locust Valley Tournament for the second year in a row.
Several of the members on these teams have already been inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame including Alexandra Brill-Edwards Champ ’92, Amy Gambrill ’89,Tara Herzberg Eisenberg ’92, Meredith “Mandy” Kaufman Roth ’90, Lisette Perez ’90, Deborah Rebell Moss ’90, Niccole Siegel Kroll ’90, Margaret Wood Berling ’91, and Coach Liz Traub.
